Framework
Analyzing the product’s functionality and workflows, planning the document’s structure and style conventions, and writing headlines.

Document framework is delivered. In consultation with the customer, chapters can be added, changed or removed.

Writing First Draft
Filling in the chapters in the approved framework with text, screenshots and diagrams.

First draft is delivered. Following a review by the customer, changes are discussed.

Editing
Improving structure and phrasing, adding missing explanations and correcting errors.

Second Draft is Delivered
The customer approves the document and requests final changes.

Proofing and Pagination
The customer’s final changes are implemented, the document is read by a proof-reader and is paginated.
